Directly after graduation, Attorney Melissa A. Hendrie accepted a commission in the United States Air Force as a member of JAG Corp. Sworn as a Special Assistant United States Attorney, she prosecuted criminal cases in the 9thDistrict of Northwest Florida. In addition to her role as a military prosecutor, Attorney Hendrie served as the Chief of Civil Law. In that role, she handled labor disputes, injury claims and court-martials. After being honorably discharged, she accepted a job as an Assistant District Attorney with the Bristol County District Attorney’s Office. There, she worked in the New Bedford District Court, Attleboro District Court, and Fall River Superior Court. Attorney Hendrie’s extensive and diverse experience in the State and Federal Courts provides her with the necessary background to zealously represent your interests.

Attorney John M. Hendrie is the son of prominent, South Coast personal injury Attorney Daniel S. Hendrie and followed in his father’s footsteps by opening up Hendrie Law P.C. in downtown Fall River. John spent the first part of his career as a prosecutor in the New Bedford District Court, serving as the supervising attorney for years. After his government service with the Bristol County District Attorney’s Office, Attorney Hendrie has been focused on protecting the individual rights and interests of the citizens of his community. Equally adept as an advocate in a courtroom or as a trusted advisor in the office, Attorney Hendrie is ready and willing to serve your legal needs.

After graduating from Gibbs College, formerly Katherine Gibbs, Casey was hired by the Plymouth County District Attorney’s Office in February 2008 where she worked in Brockton District Court and later Brockton Superior Court, Appeals Unit for over 10 years. In October 2018, she accepted a position with the Bristol County District Attorney’s Office at the Fall River Superior Court where she supported Superior Court and Appeals until June 2023. With 15+ years of experience in State Government, she brings a deep understanding of court proceedures, case management, and appellate work. Casey is committed to providing clients with compassionate, efficient and knowlegeable legal support in every matter she handles.
